Privacy Policy

Last updated 10 August 2026

This explains what TICKETRAX by NETRAX collects when you use TICKETRAX, why, and what control you have. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

If you buy a ticket: your name, email address and phone number, plus the amount paid and which event it was for. We ask for these three things and nothing more. We do not collect your home address.

If you host events: your name, email address and the events you create.

Automatically: basic technical logs such as IP address and browser type, used to keep the service running and secure.

We never see your card details. Card data goes straight to Stripe and never touches our servers.

Why we collect it

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not advertise to you.

Who else sees it

The host of the event you bought a ticket to. They see your name, email, phone, payment status and whether you checked in. They need this to run the event. Hosts only ever see buyers of their own events.

We also use these service providers, who process data on our behalf:

Some of these store data outside Australia. We otherwise disclose information only where the law requires it.

Your ticket link

Your ticket lives at a private address containing a long random token. It is not indexed by search engines and cannot be guessed, but anyone you send it to can view and use that ticket, so treat it like the ticket itself.

How long we keep it

Order and ticket records are kept while your account is active and for as long as tax and accounting law requires (generally five years in Australia). Technical logs are kept for a short period.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit. Access to attendee information is restricted at the database level so a host can only reach their own events’ buyers. No system is perfectly secure, but we take this seriously.

Your choices

Email Support@netrax.co and we will respond within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

Cookies

We use cookies only to keep you signed in and to keep the service secure. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.
