Terms of Service
Last updated 10 August 2026
These terms apply when you use TICKETRAX (“the platform”), operated by TICKETRAX by NETRAX. By creating an account, hosting an event or buying a ticket, you agree to them.
Who does what
The platform is a tool for hosts to publish events and sell tickets, and for buyers to purchase them. Each event is run by the host who created it, not by us.
This matters: your contract for attending an event is with that host. We provide the ticketing, take the payment and issue the ticket. We do not organise, supervise or vouch for any event listed here.
Accounts
- You must give an accurate name and email, and keep them current.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account. Keep your password to yourself.
- You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live.
- We may suspend an account that breaks these terms or puts buyers at risk.
Hosting an event
As a host you are responsible for:
- Describing your event honestly: date, time, place, price and what a ticket includes.
- Actually running it, or telling ticket holders promptly if you cannot.
- Refunds when you cancel, move or materially change the event.
- Any permits, insurance, licences and safety obligations the event needs.
- Handling attendee data lawfully. See our Privacy Policy.
- Any tax you owe on ticket revenue.
You may not use the platform for events that are illegal, hateful, misleading, or that you have no right to run. We can unpublish an event that does, and will tell you why.
Buying a ticket
- Prices are shown in Australian dollars and include GST where it applies.
- Your ticket is a QR code, delivered by email and on a private link. Treat that link as the ticket, because anyone holding it can use it.
- A ticket is valid for one entry to one event unless the host says otherwise.
- Entry is at the host’s discretion and subject to their venue’s rules.
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details. Your ticket is issued once Stripe confirms the payment, not before.
Refunds and cancellations
- Host cancels or materially changes the event: you are entitled to a refund of the ticket price.
- You change your mind: refunds are at the host’s discretion. Ask them first.
- Refunds go back to the card you paid with, and can take several business days to appear.
- A refunded ticket stops working immediately and will be rejected at the door.
Nothing here limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, which apply regardless of what this document says.
Availability
We work to keep the platform running but do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change or withdraw features.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for what happens at an event, for a host’s acts or omissions, or for indirect losses. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to resupplying the service or refunding what you paid us for it.
Ending it
You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. Orders and tickets already issued are kept for records and tax purposes.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be posted here with a new date, and continuing to use the platform means you accept them.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
